Blog: Day 31

What do you like and also dislike about duet acting? I like just plain acting and being loud and crazy and a different person. Plus someone else is with me on stage. I dislike having to memorize my parts and kind of my partners. Because it is hard enough to remember mine. But other than that I really like it.

Blog: Oral Interpretation

My thoughts on Oral Interpretation: I love love love it. This is probably the easiest speech yet. It is even better than the speech about myself. Plus I like getting into character and using different voices. If I could choose my favorite speech it would be this one. Not lying. Except I still have more to come so for now it is my favorite.

Blog: Day 30

I think that throughout this blogging experience it has been interesting. For one thing I like to see what other people think about. But sometimes when I don't agree it can be upsetting but I guess not everyone will ever agree. I also like blogging because it's like a jump start into the class. And I can say anything I want to because it is my opinion and no one else. But sometimes it is hard to think about what to say.

Blog: Day 29

Why guys are better than girls? Guys are better than girls because they are hardly ever moody. They can build about anything. So if my car was to break down I'm sure some guy would know exactly what was wrong with it, unless if that guy never was taught anything about cars or any manly things. Plus they do all the hard and dirty work. So basically sometimes women are just high maintenance and don't like to get down and dirty. Men also don't fight over stupid things and when they do fight they can just throw a punch and get it over with to where girls sit there and hate each other for an on going time. Men can get ready faster where girls are slow and think they need so much time to look good. (I don't necessarily believe guys are better but the things that I stated would probably have to be true. Sorry girls but we are kind like this.)

Blog: Day 28

How do I get ready in the morning? First off I get up stretch and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and turn my straightener on. Then I get a drink and wait for my straightener to heat up. After it is ready I take about 15 minutes to straighten my hair. I then put on my foundation then my powder, then my blush, then my eyeshadow, my eye liner, and finally my mascara. After that I choose what I am going to wear for the day. I also have to choose what shoes I want to wear. After that is all done I start my car. I come inside and pour a bowl of cereal. After I eat I grab my coat and put my shoes on and grab my bags. Then I get into my car and head off.

Blog: Day 27

Today's blog is anything I want to choose. I think I will talk about my weekend. I first of all had to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It was no fun. My job can really be annoying but its money so I guess I have to deal with that. But besides working I went to my dads. It has been awhile since I have been to my dads so it was nice. But I was up at like 3:30 because my brother got up to go to work. Then I stayed up because my dad and I were going to go in the truck at 5. So that is pretty much what I did this weekend. Oh wait, I also went bowling. That was fun.

Blog: Day 26

In the headline article about Autism and Vaccinations I believe that Jenny McCarthy is a very brave women. To speak out to all of those doctors and tell them that something is not right with the vaccinations is brave because you would think a doctor knows everything. But maybe these doctors are not caring as much as they should. They may see Jenny as a single person who is just stubborn or something but yet she is just an ordinary mother seeking help for her child. If a doctor had an autistic child then they may feel her pain. But to also be told that she was lying and that her child did not have autism has to be pretty rough. It's amazing how one person is speaking for thousands of people and yet she feels like she can't get any where if people won't listen and understand. I hope that everything will turn out for the best of Jenny McCarthy because she is speaking out for all of those mothers who feel her same pain.

Blog: Day 25

If I could be any house hold appliance I would be a smoothie maker. One reason I would be a smoothie maker is because I would always get yummy substances put into me that I could taste. I would also have very sharp teeth to grind everything and anything. Then I could run so fast. The fastest anyone has ever seen an appliance run. I would also like to be on the show "The Brave Little Toaster". I would try to get the role part because I am cool like that. :) I would also be glad to swallow some of the smoothie that my owner would make. Then they might throw me away so I might not do that.

The article I read was about the Kindle and what students and teachers think about it. The article is under estudent news. The students have saved nearly 50% on paper but the students and professors think that the kindle has restricted them. They took a survey and they did say that it saves on paper but they sometimes miss being able to highlight things and flip back to pages. I have seen the Kindle and it does look like a nice device to use but I really don't know if it restricts people.

Blog: Day 23

My favorite class would definitely be Foods and Nutrition. I love this class because you get to eat all the time. We hardly have homework and the tests are usually easy because it is mostly common sense. We also get to have cook shows and demonstrations. And if we are lucky we get a few field trips. Our first field trip was to Kids For Hunger. That was a great experience and it made be feel good inside. But as you can see Foods is amazing and your always eating.

If I could be any actress i would be Reece Witherspoon, because she is beautiful and has amazing hair. She is also very famous and she is in a lot of movies. She even started at a young age. She is also very skinny for her age and she has amazing skin. But that is probably because she has famous makeup artists. And I bet she has famous hairstylists to make her hair shine and make it look luscious.

If I could go anywhere in the world without expenses I would go to Florida because that is the one place that would be so amazing to visit. I would love to have nice whether every day and swim because that is one of the things I love to do. Plus there would be so much shopping i could do and i would always where my swimming suit.

Blog: Day 20

One thing I want to do before I die is to meet someone who is very famous and probably not like a movie star but someone who made an impact on lives. I think it would be really nice to meet someone like that, especially after the guy came today to talk to us.

Blog: Day 18

If i were of the opposite gender I would be pretty happy. For one reason it would be nice to pee standing up. Also we wouldn't have to wear a shirt and we wouldn't have to worry about our hair or makeup. If I was living in the 50's it would probably be boring because we wouldn't have enough things to do, but that is probably because of all of the technology we have. So maybe it would be good to not watch tv or anthing but play outside or something. If I was George Strait I would be singing and making songs right now because he is a country singer and I would be on the road traveling. If I was a fish I would not be breathing right now because I am not in water. Therefore I'd want to be swimming and looking at everything under water with a clear vision. If I was a cave person I would have to be making my own fire and hardly wearing any clothes I would also be trying to hunt my food somewhere and I would not like that at all.

Blog: Day 17

If I was a super hero for a day, my day would be different because I would not be stuck in boring school because I could teach myself everything. I would be flying around town and saving people or I would be taking a nap anywhere on earth. I would zap myself to be in Florida or somewhere warm because this cold weather just isn't cutting it. I would also have a great hair day and always feel good about myself. It would be nice to have a different outfit every day and have the clothes I've never been able to have. Over all it would be awesome to be a super hero.

Blog: Day 16

My speech...Well the things I thought I did good were I had an interesting voice the entire time, I remembered to use my posters, and I was not as nervous. But I feel like I did a lot of things wrong. I forgot a lot of words, I didn't have enough time, I stuttered sometimes, and I moved awkwardly. If I could change my speech I would have practiced a little bit more and I would have lasted longer.

Blog: Day 15

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Not only do I love getting presents but I love eating all of the food that my grandma makes. This year was the worst Christmas because my mom and I were stuck in a house that we absolutely did not want to be in. Then I had to work at the Manor on Christmas but that wasn't too bad because I danced and sang with the residents to cheer them up. But I always say its not like Christmas without snow but really this year had way to much snow. Hopefully next year will be better to where there will be some snow and I will be able to open presents and eat so much food on Christmas Day and not a week later. I also like Christmas because I love seeing all of my family get together. Some of my relatives don't get to come and see us for like a year so it's really nice to catch up with them and see what's new with them.

Blog: Day 14

My favorite get-a-way place is to go to the lake or the creek here by town. I like going to the creek because it gets me out of the house and I can just swim which is something I love to do. Plus I like the sunshine and the nice clear air and I think it's better than going to the swimming pool.

Blog: Day 13

My favorite sports team is none. I do not have a favorite, because I don't have time to pay attention to what team is better than others. I work a lot after school or I am doing cheerleading. With my free time I'm obviously not going to waste my time watching TV or watching our teams. When I cheer I watch our teams but other than that I usually have to work. I also like to hang out with my friends and I don't think any of us care about what team is better. We just like watching once in awhile to see how they are doing but I'm not going to go around to other schools to see which team I like the best. Even though I am sure your thinking my favorite sports team should be Pierce. I mean I like the teams and all but there's nothing that makes them my favorite.

My favorite hobby is to listen to music. Music helps clear my mind and I like to sing and dance. I listen to music every day forever. It really changes my attitude. I love music.

Blog: Day 11

My most embarrassing moment was when I ran into my grandma's sliding door. I thought it was opened, and ya it wasn't. My whole family laughed at me and I had a headache from slamming my head towards the door.

Blog: Day 10

My favorite thing to do doing the summer is to swim. I absolutely could swim all day every day during the summer. I would rather swim at a creek rather than a swimming pool. For some reason a swimming pool gets boring and little kids get annoying. But at a creek you can have pretty much just the people you want if it's kind of private. But that's about it because that's all my friends and I ever do.

Blog: Day 9

My favorite memory in my life time would have to be the day my family had to squeeze eleven people into a five seated car. I was only about six years old and a bunch of us went to Dover, Delaware to see my uncle and cousins and at the time my aunt. We decided that we would go to Pennsylvania in two cars and go site seeing. After awhile of driving around, one of the cars started to do weird things. Then of course the car broke down. Therefore, we had to fit eleven people into one car. I remember my uncle, Rick, was driving and my grandma was in the passenger seat with my cousin and I sitting on her. It's a good thing we were only four and six. Then we had to open the trunk from inside, like how you pull the seats down to get into the trunk. My mom, brother, cousin Robey, uncle Rusty, aunt Arora, aunt Becky, and cousin Ryan had to squeeze in the back seat with people sitting in the trunk and the others sitting against the people, in the trunk, backs. And to make things worse it was 100 degrees out and we had to drive home that took us a couple of hours. Although we were crowded it was a pretty good time and in the end it made everyone laugh.

Blog: Day 8

My favorite TV show is The Secret Life of the American Teenager. I like this show because it shows what its like to be pregnant and all the difficulties you get while pregnant. I also like how the theme is played and how each character acts. I also like the TV show The Real World. I'm not sure why but I like the fights, arguments, and drama. I also like it when two of the room mates fall in love like The Real World Austin. I just don't like the couples that fight or are ugly together.

Blog: Day 7

I thought that the State of the Union Address was very good. Except for it being boring, but that is just because I would have rather been watching something else. The people dressed very professionally. The people applauded very many times because of the great things being said. I didn't watch as much as other people because half of the things I didn't understand or I didn't want to, because this world is scary and I'm afraid of the future.

Blog: Day 6

My favorite thing to do on the weekends is to hang either with my boyfriend, Nathaniel, or hang with Sam. Another thing I like to do is to go swimming once the snow goes away for good. If I can't do those two things then I usually have to work or I hang out at home with my mom or something. But that is really boring and I'd rather be doing something else then hanging with my mom in my small house.

Blog: Day 5

This last week of blogging was pretty fun. One reason is because I enjoyed looking at others blogs and see different point of views. Some people even put funny pictures up that really excite me and get a little color on their blogs. I also like to comment on others blogs just to say "hey I agree" or something like that. Another reason I like to blog is because it takes time in the day. I'm going to be honest. :) Plus it gives us a little lead way into the class period and it gets us going. That's probably a lot of the reason I like blogging.
Then again blogging sometimes can be boring if its on something that doesn't interest me or something that I don't have a clue had to wright about. Other than that I enjoy blogging about my feelings over so many different types of situations or things like that. And that's about it on the reason I like blogging sometimes and the reason it can't be fun.

I have changed allot this year. One way I have changed is by being a better cheerleader this year and coming out of my shell allot more. I have also been more spontaneous this year and taken more chances! And lastly I have changed by getting a job and being more mature. And I also got on the National Honor Society.

Blog: Day 1

One reason I think we are blogging is because we will be able to express our feelings and show anyone what is on our mind that day. We will also be able to see what other people think daily or what they are doing. Another thing we can do is see photos of all kinds of people from different places. But we will also be able to benefit from this by, perhaps, maybe getting money if we have people's ads on our site. Another reason this will benefit us is because we can learn from other people's blogs and what happens where they are.
